Three alleged TTP militants arrested in Karachi in a joint Police-Rangers operation

Three alleged terrorists were arrested on Sunday in Gulshan-e-Maymar area during a joint operation of Karachi Police and the Rangers, revealed Sindh Rangers spokesperson. The operation was conducted on a tip-off.

According to the details, the terrorists belong to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan's (TTP) splinter group led by Qari Sa'ad Bilal alias Humayun group. The alleged militants have been identified as Yaseen alias Qari, Ikramullah, and Muhammad Khalid alias Mansoor.

The spokesperson shared that ammunition and weapons have been recovered during the operation. The arrestees have recently returned from Afghanistan and were planning on an attack in the provincial capital of Sindh. He also added that one of the captured terrorists, Yaseen, had previously carried out several subversive activities in Swat, while Muhammad Khalid had been a close associate of Yaseen for a long time.

Rangers have handed over the detainees to the police for legal proceedings and further investigations.
