Here's how common illnesses could be very dangerous

WEB DESK: With the slight changes in weather, many common and minor illnesses become viral. And, because these viruses are common so they are not always taken serious and often treated by self-medication. 

Moreover, common illnesses are should not be ignored as they could become very dangerous.

Colds

The first and most common illness are colds. These are basically viral infection. Moreover, the symptoms of common colds are bad cough, running nose, and some aches which doesn't really need medical attention but it is alarming if you are constantly feeling exhausted or feeling like you are about to faint. Also, vomiting, chest pressure, confusion, chest pain, continuous fever also indicates that it may be more than a short-lived virus. Hence, don't wait it to be cured by its own but rather go straight to doctor and get your medical checkup done.

Sore throats

Sore throats usually are a result of mucus drainage or an airborne allergen. Also, the most common causes behind sore throats are low humidity, smoking, air pollution, yelling, or breathing through the mouth when your nose is clogged. According to American Osteopathic Association, you will need to visit a doctor if you have sore throat along with swollen tonsils or adenoids, an inability to sleep at night or a fever.

Flu

Many people affected by flu each year as it is the most common illness. It's symptoms include fever, chills, headache, muscle aches, extreme tiredness, cough, and a runny nose. Since flu is tricky to treat and only antibiotics won't help hence other treatment like ibuprofen, rest, plenty of fluids, and over-the-counter decongestants are needed. Plus, flu can easily lead to pneumonia or bronchitis and if you are dealing with chest pain, wheezing, long-lasting high fever, bluish-colored lips or nails, or shortness of breath during flu, see a doctor immediately.

Ear pain/infection

It is a common illness among children and as well as in adults. It is often feel in winter. If a person is going through an earn pain or infection due to sinus or common cold, it may heals on its own and you would not need antibiotics. But, if it lasts more than a week along with hearing loss or a fever, visit your doctor immediately.
