PESCO appeals for energy conservation, loadshedding due to power shortfall
PESHAWAR: Due to closure of canals and stoppage of sui gas to thermal power plants extra loadshedding like other parts of the country is being carried out in the Province.
With consumers co-operation we can overcome the current electricity shortage, said a press release issued by Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) here on Friday. The company is taking all possible steps to overcome electricity outages, however public is requested to conserve energy by means of less consumption especially during the peak hours i.e from 6 pm to 11 pm.
Pesco also requests the industrial consumers to extend their cooperation to save at least 25 percent energy, switch off street lights alternatively especially bill boards must be switched off.
The domestic consumers are also requested to use energy savers and tube lights instead of bulbs and iron their clothes in day time so that energy could be saved.
Pesco Management is trying its best to minimize the loadshedding duration and provide stable supply to the customers.
