Pakistan, Afghanistan hold Joint Coordination Committee meeting in Kabul

Meeting will focus on discussions regarding economic cooperation and mutual interest areas

A Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) meeting aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan is currently underway in Kabul.

A high-level delegation from Pakistan, special envoy on Afghanistan Muhammad Sadiq, has arrived in the Afghan capital.

The delegation includes senior officials from various ministries and departments.

The meeting will focus on detailed discussions regarding economic cooperation and other areas of mutual interest between the two countries.

Before the JCC meeting, Head of Mission Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani, conducted an important meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs Mullah Amir Khan Muttaqi.

Sources indicate that the discussions will cover crucial issues such as the dignified return of Afghan refugees, regional peace and stability, and the enhancement of bilateral ties.

Officials from both sides have expressed a willingness to foster future cooperation.

The meeting is taking place in a cordial environment, with both parties emphasizing the importance of maintaining effective communication to strengthen bilateral relations.
