Hasan explained that both he and Afridi were deeply aware that mob lynching victims rarely survive in reality.
This understanding led them to stick to an unfiltered portrayal, where every character meets a tragic fate at the hands of the violent mob.
The director also disclosed that multiple actors were initially considered for key roles.
Sajal Ali was the first choice for the lead role, but due to her unavailability, Sehar Khan was cast. Hasan praised Sehar’s energy and screen presence, calling her a perfect fit for the role.
The role played by Nauman Masood was originally offered to Faisal Rehman, who declined the part.
Nadia Jamil was the first choice for Samiya Mumtaz’s role, but due to scheduling conflicts, Samiya was eventually cast.
