Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Tuesday his government is not going anywhere and the opposition's no-confidence motion will fail.

Talking to digital media journalists in Islamabad, the prime minister said the no-confidence motion was the opposition's last move and they would face defeat.

Earlier in the day, the joint opposition filed the no-confidence motion against the prime minister in the National Assembly Secretariat.

He alleged that many foreign hands were supporting the opposition parties.

He said his government has devised a strategy to thwart all the opposition's moves.

Khan claimed "they [opposition] are offering Rs 180 million to government lawmakers."

The lawmakers have been asked to take money from the opposition parties and distribute it among the poor.

Speaking about Jehangir Tareen, Khan said he knew Tareen very well and that the disgruntled PTI leader would never support "corrupt" political leaders.

The prime minister further said the military fully stands with Pakistan not with robbers.

He said he would defeat the group of "thieves and robbers" no matter how hard they try to overthrow his government.

He vowed that no NRO would be given to the corrupt.
