Air operations across Pakistan have been severely affected, with around 70 international flights cancelled on Wednesday due to bad weather and rising regional tensions.

Lahore Airport saw 12 cancellations, Peshawar 10, Islamabad 23, and Karachi 27 flights.

Airport sources said that, in addition to adverse weather, the ongoing conflict involving Iran and threats from the US President are major factors behind the disruptions.
