Covid positivity rate stays below 1% for third consecutive day
Pakistan recorded less than 300 Covid cases for the third consecutive day, according to the National Command and Operation (NCOC) data on Monday.
Out of 32,466 Covid tests conducted in the last 24 hours, 240 people tested positive for the virus.
The daily Covid positivity rate also remained below 1 per cent for the third consecutive day, with 0.73% rate recorded in the last 24 hours.
The country recorded six new deaths of the virus that pushed the total death toll to 28,612 mark since the pandemic emerged in 2020, as per the NCOC data.
Currently, 1,111 patients of Covid are on critical care across the country.
As per the NCOC figures, at least 48 million people have been fully vaccinated against the Covid pandemic, while Asad Umar, who chairs the body, had said at least half population of the country had been vaccinated against the virus.
