Drizzle in several parts of Karachi, including I.I. Chundrigar Road, Saddar, the Old City area, and M.A. Jinnah Road, on Thursday turned the weather pleasant.

Intermittent drizzle and light rain have also been reported in neighbourhoods, including Malir, Korangi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, PECH Society and others.

Following the rain, several areas of the city experienced a power outage, causing difficulties for residents.

The areas affected included Surjani Town, Liaquatabad, Keamari, and Lyari, among others, as electricity supply has been disrupted.

Citizens have expressed frustration over the power failures and appealed to the authorities to restore the power supply.

According to a K-Electric spokesperson, electricity will be restored once the rain subsides and clearance reports are received from field teams.
