Pakistan's daily Covid rate falls slightly below 2 per cent after at least three months
After a gap of at least three months, Pakistan's daily Covid positivity rate fell slightly below 2 per cent as the country recorded 1.99 per cent daily coronavirus rate, according to the National Command and Operation Centre data published on Friday.
During the fourth wave of the virus, the country recorded 1.79 per cent daily coronavirus rate on June 28.
Meanwhile, the country also recorded a sharp decline in Covid positive cases as 912 people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, while a day ago 1,453 people tested positive for Covid.
According to the NCOC data, with 26 more deaths of virus in the last 24 hours, the total fatalities from Covid reached to 28,058 mark.
Currently, 2,763 patients infected with the virus are on critical care.
