Daily Covid rate falls below 3% after gap of two days
As the intensity of the fourth wave of coronavirus reduces, the daily Covid positivity rate falls under 3 per cent in Pakistan after gap of two days as the country recorded 2.84 per cent rate in the last 24 hours, according to the National Command and Operation Centre data.
For the last two consecutive days, the coronavirus rate was recorded 3.26 and 3.21 per cent across the country.
In the last 24 hours, 1,490 people tested positive for the virus as 52,415 Covid tests were conducted countrywide.
The death toll from the virus also recorded under 50 for three consecutive days as 27 people died of the virus in the last 24 hours.
Currently, 3,407 people infected with the virus are on critical care across the country.
Meanwhile, at least 29 million people have been vaccinated against the coronavirus across the country.
