At least 2,060 new Covid cases have been reported across Pakistan in the last 24 hours, according to the National Command and Operation Centre data.

As per the NCOC data, so far more than one million people have tested positive for the virus since the pandemic emerged in 2020.

In the last 24 hours, 44,958 Covid tests were conducted across the country.

The daily Covid positivity rate is 4.58 per cent.

With 42 new deaths from Covid reported across the country on Friday, the total fatalities in Pakistan has reached the 27,524 mark.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has crossed the 25 million mark of Covid vaccinations so far 25,493,964 people have been fully vaccinated against the virus.

Currently, 4,267 people infected with the coronavirus are on critical care across the country.
