As the fourth wave of the coronavirus continues in the country, Pakistan once again recorded 4,062 positive cases of the virus in the last 24 hours, according to the data of the National Command and Operation Centre.

At least 63,161 tests of Covid were conducted across the country on Wednesday.

The data revealed 84 people died of the virus in the last 24 hours as the Covid death toll across the country has reached to 26,497 mark since the pandemic emerged in 2020.

The positivity ratio of the virus was 6.43 per cent on Wednesday.

According to the NCOC data, currently 5,383 people infected with the virus were in critical condition.

The Covid vaccination drive continues across the country with 20,912,015 people have been fully vaccinated against the virus.
