Former president and Pakistan People's Party's leader Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday invited JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman to attend the Larkana rally on December 27th to commemorate the death anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

According to the details, the invite was extended during a telephonic conversation between the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief and the former president.

The two opposition leaders also discussed the overall political situation and future strategy to oust the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

It is important to mention that a similar invitation had been extended to the PML-N's vice president Maryam Nawaz by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari earlier this month, which she accepted. Leaders from other opposition parties including BNP-M chief Akhtar Mengal and QWP leader Aftab Sherpao have also been invited.

PPP holds an annual rally on 27 December in Ghari Khuda Bakhsh, Larkana to mark the death of former premier Benazir Bhutto.
