Lahore to get a 1000 bed general hospital, shares Firdous Ashiq Awan
1 min readSpecial Assistant to Chief Minister of Punjab for Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, on Sunday, has announced that CM Buzdar has given the approval to build a general hospital in Lahore after a gap of 30 years.
Dr Firdous took to Twitter to announce the CM's decision to include a 1000 bed general hospital project to be included in the annual development program for Punjab. In her Tweet, she said:/
"A general hospital will be built in Lahore after a gap of 30 years. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has given the approval to include a 1000 bed hospital at Ferozpur road scheme to be included in the annual development program for Punjab."
She further added that the leaders in the past did not increase the capacity of health facilities according to the needs of a growing population, however, the Buzdar administration is committed to address these depravities from the past and will provide each citizen of Punjab with Insaf health card by 2021.
