Pakistan is rich in archaeological structures and cultural heritages most of which is made for defense of the states of that times.

There are many fortresses in Pakistan but some marvelous forts of Pakistan are:

Umerkot Fort

Umerkot Fort is situated in Umerkot, Sindh. The foret was the property of Hindu Rajput dynasty.

It is a heritage hub accompanied with ancient stories of Umer Marvi.

Ranikot Fort

Ranikot fort is near Jamshoro, Sindh. It is considered as the world’s largest fort.

It is located on the top of hill. The top view makes it more attractive for visitors.

Khaplu Fort

Khaplu Fort is located in Khaplu, Gilgit Baltistan.

It was the royal residence of Raja of Khaplu during 19^th century.

It is also known as Yabgo Khar which means “ Fort on roof”.

Derawar Fort

It is located in Cholistan Desert and was built by Hindu Rajput, Bhati of Jaisalmer in Bahawalpur.

It’s magnificent forty bastions are visible from many miles in the Cholistan Desert.

Rohtas Fort

It is located about 16 km North West of Jehlum. It was built by the Afghan ruler Sher Shah Suri after he defeated Mughal King Humayun.
