Risen up by the people-elected and put on the corridors of power ---all by the people. After being served so nicely, even animals are tamed. At least that's what my experience is with the animals. Getting stuck in traffic just because your way unfortunately happened to be in the path of VIP protocol, can be the worst experience one can have.

Making the public wait for them to pass securely, only exacerbates the hate sentiment which they already have against the rulers. Had it been only for the security purposes, they wouldn’t have needed it so much of it as blocking roads doesn’t ensure safety as seen before. This is also a reflective of their feudalistic mindset of being surrounded by in numerous gunmen at all times, paying no heed to the suffering caused by their protocol.

Egocentricity is another reason why do they want to keep such VVIP protocols, besides security. Keeping opulent cars, being followed by gunmen serves to feed the narcissistic souls while people continues to live in fear and hunger.
