Jamaat-e-Islami to protest amid fuel price hike
1 min readJamaat-e-Islami has announced a protest against the recent increase in petroleum product prices, to be held tonight in front of Millennium Mall in Karachi.
Ameer Monem Zafar Khan said the government is placing the entire burden on the public while continuing its own luxuries, calling the situation “complete injustice” and vowing resistance.
Addressing a press conference at Idara Noor Haq, he also criticised the Mayor of Karachi, saying the city was submerged in rain, but the mayor failed to respond effectively.
Muneem Zafar Khan further alleged irregularities in constituency delimitation in Cantonment Boards and termed early elections as rigged.
