The upper regions of Pakistan are experiencing a series of storms, hail, and heavy rains, resulting in enjoyable weather while also disrupting everyday life in several locations. In response to the severe weather, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued an alert, urging the public to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary travel.

In Islamabad and Rawalpindi, intermittent storms and heavy rainfall have been reported, with hail falling in locations such as Blue Area. Dark clouds have shrouded the city, leading to a drop in temperature.

In Murree, heavy rain, thunder, and storms have further cooled the weather. The aftermath of the rain has caused streams to overflow and roads to turn into ponds, leading to a suspension of electricity supply and confining tourists to their hotels.

Azad Kashmir also experienced a sudden change in weather, with rainfall from dark clouds making conditions cold and pleasant in various areas, including the capital, Muzaffarabad.

Peshawar and its surrounding areas have been impacted by storms and strong winds, resulting in power outages in multiple locations.

Heavy rain and hail in Swat and Mingora have resulted in flooding, with water entering homes and shops as streams overflow. Additionally, power supply has been disrupted in numerous areas due to the severe weather conditions.

The NDMA emphasized the need to avoid seeking shelter in open areas, under power poles, and trees during storms and heavy rainfall. They also advised the public to refrain from traveling to affected areas to ensure safety.
