Azerbaijan to build Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway in Pakistan
Azerbaijan’s investment in Pakistan has entered its final stages. According to sources from the Foreign Office, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is expected to visit Pakistan on April 26 and 27, during which agreements worth a total of $2 billion will be signed.
Furthermore, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov is set to visit Pakistan next week, with his trip anticipated on April 8.
During this visit, discussions will be held on various economic and trade projects.
Potential investment projects include the petroleum, infrastructure, trade, and IT sectors.
Azerbaijan has proposed an investment of $500 million in the Sukkur-Hyderabad M-6 and M-9 motorway projects, while an overall investment of $500 million is also expected in other infrastructure projects.

In the petroleum sector, Azerbaijan is considering a $300 million investment, which may include establishing an oil refinery in Badin.
Azerbaijan is agreeable to investing in the White Pipeline project.
