A convoy carrying relief supplies is scheduled to leave from Thal to Parachinar on March 27 (today).

The district administration has announced that the convoy will include food items and other essential goods.

Security forces will accompany the convoy to ensure safety, and district administration representatives will be present.

This marks the third convoy sent during Ramadan, and it will deliver supplies to various locations in Parachinar and Lower Kurram.

Additionally, the president of the trade union highlighted that there is a shortage of vegetables, fruits, and Eid items in Kurram district due to a lack of deliveries.

Police have confirmed that strict security measures are in place for the convoy.

A comprehensive search operation was conducted, targeting insurgents and extremists in Lower Kurram last month.

Last month, APP reported that a religious leader, Qari Rizwanullah, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Sadda Pir Qoum area.
