Another aid convoy enters Kurram with essential supplies
A large aid convoy, originating from Hangu, has finally set off for Parachinar after a stop in Thal. The convoy, comprising 68 vehicles, carries essential supplies including flour, sugar, fruits, vegetables, and other goods.
According to Haji Rauf, President of the Thal Traders Association, the convoy has entered the Kurram Agency.
Sources confirm that the convoy does not include vehicles carrying petrol, diesel, or gas. Furthermore, a vehicle carrying medicines has been turned back, according to Hanif Hussain, President of the Chemists and Druggists Association. All private medical stores and hospitals in Parachinar remain closed in protest.
Government sources assure that the convoy is under the protection of police and district administration, with security forces providing constant support. Authorities have warned that those responsible for any untoward incident will be dealt with severely.
