Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are expected to celebrate Eid al-Fitr on the same day this year, according to a major prediction by astronomers.

Experts suggest that the Shawwal moon is unlikely to be sighted in Saudi Arabia on March 29.

However, on March 30, the crescent is expected to be clearly visible in Pakistan.

Meteorologists confirm that the moon will be visible to the naked eye in most parts of the world on March 30.
