Mustafa Amir Murder Case: Shocking Revelations by Accused Armaghan - Aaj News

The Mustafa murder case’s prime suspect has confessed to killing the victim and he offered him a ‘chance to escape before setting him on fire,’ police said.

Amir, a Karachi resident, went missing on January 6, according to the police. His charred body was found in a car in Balochistan, they told reporters in a press conference on Friday.

This came two days after an anti-terrorism court-II in Karachi sent him to police custody on a four-day remand.

Investigative officials reported that the suspect’s bungalow in Khayaban-e-Momin, Defence area in Karachi was raided where they discovered a “stick hidden” in the guard room.

The suspect confessed to torturing Mustafa with an iron rod for two hours, resulting in significant injuries that caused blood to flow from the victim’s head and knees.

He claimed that he had invited another suspect, Shiraz, to his bungalow on February 6 and called the victim to join them.

Upon Mustafa’s arrival, he was assaulted and loaded in the victim’s vehicle, driving him to Hub, Balochistan.

Both allegedly opened the trunk and discovered that the victim was still alive, dousing him with petrol and allegedly taunting him to escape. The prime suspect allegedly gave the victim “a chance to escape before setting him on fire.”

Despite his attempts to move, Mustafa was unable to do so due to injuries to his knees.

The suspect, then, “walked from Hub and managed to hitchhike back to Karachi.”

The Sindh Health Department announced the formation of a three-member medical board to oversee the exhumation of Mustafa Amir’s body. It is scheduled to take place on Friday (tomorrow) at 9am.

A string of shocking criminal activities exposed that Armaghan was a seasoned offender involved in extortion, kidnapping, drug dealing, and illegal possession of weapons.

The father of the Mustafa murder case’s prime suspect has defended his son’s gun battle with the police, denying that his son was allegedly running an illegal business inside the high technology room of the house.

Deceased Mustafa Amir’s mother has accused her son’s girlfriend of killing her son as the police investigate the killing of the youth.

Victim, suspect in Mustafa murder case were childhood friends: interrogation report

Background

The police have filed a request for the exhumation of Mustafa Amir’s body, stating that it is essential for conducting a post-mortem and DNA analysis.

He had been missing since January 6 and was allegedly murdered by his childhood friends, who later burned his body along with his car.

Further revelations have come from Armagan’s friend, Shiraz, who claimed that Mustafa and Armagan had a dispute over a girl during New Year’s Eve. The disagreement led to Armagan luring Mustafa to his house under false pretenses on January 6, where he violently killed him.

The suspects then transported his body in the car’s trunk to Hub in Balochistan, where they set the vehicle on fire. Initial investigations indicate that Armaghan and Shiraz were responsible for burning the car and disposing of the body.

Meanwhile, police recovered modern weapons from the suspect’s residence, and the Counter-Terrorism Department has been assigned to trace their origin.

The AVCC police have also requested FIA assistance in analyzing data from a laptop seized from Armaghan’s bungalow.

Additionally, a disturbing audio recording has surfaced, reportedly Mustafa’s last, in which he tells a friend that he was heading to Armagan’s house and suggests that his friend should join him after finishing his work.

This recording has raised significant questions about the police investigation, as it suggests that Mustafa’s friend may have known about his last whereabouts, yet failed to inform the authorities for over a month.
