Woman kidnapped for Rs10m ransom found murdered in Karachi
In a tragic incident in Karachi, a woman, kidnapped for a ransom of Rs10 million, has been found murdered.
The victim, identified as Sahar Fatima, was abducted on February 15, 2025. The kidnappers sent a video of her with hands and feet bound and mouth taped to her father via a social media app.
The Rangers, after conducting an operation in the Surjani Town area, arrested two suspects involved in the kidnapping.
Based on their confession, the woman’s body was found in a rented house in Hassan Brohi Goth, Surjani Town.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Wasim Raza and Nixon.

They were allegedly responsible for Sahar Fatima’s murder after kidnapping her for ransom. The Rangers confirmed that the suspects held Sahar in a rented house and brutally killed her.
According to her husband’s complaint, he had tried contacting Sahar multiple times on February 16, but received no response.
Later, around 9pm, Sahar’s sister informed him that a video had been sent to her father’s phone, showing Sahar unconscious, along with a voice message.
The arrested suspects have been handed over to the Anti-Violent Crime Cell for further investigation and legal action.
