Rain forecast for Lahore as new year brings cold weather
The Meteorological Department has announced a forecast for rain in Lahore and several districts of Punjab, starting tomorrow and continuing until January 6.
Humidity levels are expected to reach as high as 94%.
As the new year arrives, Lahore is experiencing cold weather, with current temperatures recorded at 9 degree Celcius.
The forecast indicates a minimum temperature of 8 degree Celcius and a maximum of 18 degree Celcius, along with wind speeds of 5 km/h.
Despite the chilly conditions, Lahore remains the third most polluted city in Pakistan, with an average smog level of 219.
