Pakistani Rupee sees slight increase against US Dollar
The Pakistani Rupee appreciated by 0.1% against the US dollar during the early hours of trading in the inter-bank market on Friday.
As of 10:15am, the currency was valued at Rs280.28, reflecting a gain of Re0.28 from the previous day’s closing rate of Rs280.56.
The US dollar has faced challenges globally, struggling to regain its strength amidst concerns over President Trump’s recent tariff policies.
The market is also awaiting the release of a critical U.S. payroll report for insights into the economy’s health and potential implications for monetary policy.
Oil prices, a crucial indicator of currency stability, experienced a decline, contributing to the ongoing anxiety regarding international trade and its impact on economic growth.
