Naqvi announces Rs10 million prize for blind cricket team
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced a Rs10 million reward for the national blind cricket team following their World Cup victory. Khan recently met with the team to personally congratulate them on their achievement.
In a statement, Khan lauded the team’s triumph, calling it a significant honor for Pakistan. He highlighted the PCB’s efforts to rapidly improve the team’s resources and emphasized the importance of blind cricket alongside other national teams such as the Under-19 and Shaheen squads.
The PCB chairman reassured the blind cricket team of the board’s continued and unwavering support.
Pakistan secured a resounding 10-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the World Cup final, held yesterday at Multan Cricket Stadium.
