PTI MPAs brawl over Lahore rally

The altercation happened inside the Punjab Assembly

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally in Lahore appears to have backfired, leading to a heated altercation among party leaders. Sources reveal that a brawl erupted between PTI Lahore President Sheikh Imtiaz Mahmood and Farooq Javed Moon within the Punjab Assembly.

The incident occurred in the presence of other assembly members, including the opposition leader. PTI Sindh leader, Firdous Shamim Naqvi, was also present at the meeting.

Sources claim that Naqvi raised concerns about the rally’s performance, stating it fell short of expectations and should not have ended at 6 pm.

Sheikh Imtiaz reportedly responded by saying that the rally was a success considering the difficulties faced, adding that the party had spent 3.5 million rupees on the event and needed to recoup the funds.

Farooq Javed Moon questioned the expenditure, claiming that he had organized similar rallies without spending such a large sum. This sparked a heated exchange between the two leaders, culminating in a physical altercation.
