Two Khawarij terrorist killed in operation: CTD
The Counter Terrorism Department has reported the killing of two terrorists from the extremist group Fitna al-Khawarij during an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ghazi Khan,.
According to the CTD spokesperson, the operation aimed at apprehending the terrorists was initiated after intelligence reports. Upon noticing the CTD team, the terrorists opened fire.
The spokesperson mentioned that the two terrorists were killed by gunfire from their own associates.
From the terrorists’ hideout, security forces recovered hand grenades, two rifles, ammunition, and explosive materials.
The CTD has stated that a search operation is ongoing to capture the fleeing terrorists, who were reportedly planning attacks on sensitive installations.
