Pakistani security forces conducted an intelligence-led operation in Kurram District on August 15 killing seven terrorists, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.

he operation targeted a known hideout of the Khwarij group, a militant organization responsible for numerous attacks on security forces and civilians.

During the operation, security forces engaged the Khwarij fighters, resulting in the deaths of seven militants and the injury of five others. The operation also successfully destroyed the Khwarij hideout and recovered a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives.

The slain militants were actively involved in various terrorist activities, posing a serious threat to the safety and security of the region.

Following the operation, a thorough sanitization effort is underway to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining Khwarij presence in the area.
