Five terrorists killed in three separate KP operations: ISPR
At least five terrorists have been killed by security forces in three separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the military’s media wing said on Monday.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations said that militants were killed “on July 28 to July 29”.
Three terrorists, including Kharji alias Qari of Fitna Al Khawarij, were killed in the Mohmand operation, the ISPR said and added that a cache of arms, ammunition and explosives was recovered from the terrorists’ hideout.
KP Police Constable Abrar Hussain, a Swabi resident, was martyred during an exchange of fire with terrorists, it added.
In Dera Ismail Khan’s operation, Kharji Sifatullah alias Mullah Mansoor of Fitna Al Khawarij was killed while three other terrorists were injured. “Kharji Sifatullah was involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area including facilitation of suicide bombing attack in Daraban on December 12, 2023, and was highly wanted by law enforcement agencies.”
In the North Waziristan operation, the Kharji terrorist of Fitna Al Khawarij was killed.
“Pakistan’s security forces stand shoulder to shoulder with other law enforcement agencies to ensure peace and stability across Pakistan and such sacrifices of our brave men further strengthen our resolve,” it said.
