A well-known Hindu businessman was gunned down in Balochistan’s Kalat district on Monday.

Unidentified gunmen opened fire at the trader, identified as Laila Ram, on Qasab Khana road.

The incident reportedly took place at a liquor store owned by Laila Ram.

Laila Ram was a well known trader in the city. His young nephew was also wounded in the incident.

Police said that the incident seemed to be a targeted killing but have not identified the perpetrators or the motive behind the crime so far.
