Hollywood actor Dolph Lundgren has said that marrying his personal trainer Emma Krokdal, who is more than half of his age, “was a good choice.”

“She [Emma Krokdal] helps me with the script and during the production and post-production. Just giving me a second opinion and double-checking,” he said in a recent interview with Fox News Digital. “So it’s actually getting married was a good choice. I really enjoy it.”

The 66-year-old actor married his 27-year-old personal trainer in an intimate ceremony in Mykonos, Greece in July 2023. They started dating in 2019. The Expendables star was previously married twice.

Lundgren and his first wife, Peri Momm, tied the knot in 1991 but divorced a year later, according to media reports. In 1994, the Sweden actor married interior designer Anette Qviberg. They share daughters Ida, 27, and Greta, 21. They split in 2011.

The Rocky star was speaking about his upcoming movie Wanted Man in the interview. He explained that his wife was a “great support” to him.

He praised her for being clever and smart. Lundgren shared that the two were also working on another project which is comedy.

Krokdal played the role of Justine in Wanted Man and also served as a co-producer. According to Lundgren, she also helped him behind-the-scenes on the new movie.
