Renowned businessman SM Munir passes away
Renowned businessman and industrialist SM Munir passed away in Karachi on Monday.
SM Munir was the patron-in-chief of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) and was also the chairman of the Trade Development Authority.
According to the sources Munir was suffering from fever since today (Monday) morning and was shifted to a private hospital after he suffered cardiac arrest, but he could not survive.
Sources say that SM Munir’s family is in Lahore.
Earlier today, Munir was also present during the visit of Governor Sindh Kamran Tesori to KATI.
SM Munir’s company is the largest exporter of leather in Pakistan and he had experience in various sectors including tanneries, textiles, and banking.
