Lahore police have booked five men on the complaint of a woman that she had been gang raped and the men made TikTok videos of her after stripping her naked, reported Samaa.

As per the complaint of the woman, a resident of Nishtar Colony, three men offered her a job and called her in a factory in Raiwind, a town in Lahore.

When she arrived there, the men took her to a house, saying a meeting with the manager was supposed to be at the place. There, she was subjected to gang rape, according to the report.

The victim has been moved to a hospital for treatment and medico-legal examination.

So far, no suspects have been arrested in the case. The police said further action would be taken after they received medical report of the woman.

Pakistan has a chequered record when it comes to sexual crimes against women. In a December 2021 report to the National Assembly, the country's main legislative body, the Ministry of Human Rights informed that over 14,000 rape cases were reported in the country during the last four years. This comes down to a rape every other hour.
