Pakistan’s Covid death toll crosses 25,000
Pakistan’s Covid death toll reached 25,003 on Monday as the country recorded 80 more fatalities of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the figures issued by the National Command and Operation Centre.
Out of the 53,881 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, 3,772 people tested positive for the virus.
The Covid positivity ratio was 7%.
So far at least 13 million people have been fully vaccinated against Covid across the country, according to the government figures, while more than 37 million people have received their first dose of the vaccine.
