The government has warned on several occasions against large-scale gatherings due to the prevailing situation of COVID-19. Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that Pakistan Democratic Alliance (PDM) is deliberately endangering lives.

"The PDM by continuing with jalsas is deliberately endangering lives & livelihoods bec if cases continue to rise at the rate we are seeing, we will be compelled to go into complete lockdown & PDM will be responsible for consequences," he warned.
