KARACHI: The youngest I.T engineer, Arfa Karim, died on January 14, 2012, by a cardiac arrest at the minor age of 16. Today marks her fIfth anniversary.

Arfa Karim Randhava made Pakistan proud by becoming the youngest I.T engineer in the world, at the age of just 9 years old.

In 2005, Microsoft’s founder and billionaire Bill Gates met Arfa and gave her the Microsoft Certified Application certification.

During her short life, Arfa notched a Pride of Performance award, Salam Pakistan Youth Award and Madre Millat Gold medal.
