Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has defeated Deepika Padukone fair and square to become India’s highest paid TV actress from all over the world.

A recent list released by Forbes showed Deepika Padukone as the 10th Highest Paid Actress in the World with $10 million. Apparently, Priyanka has won the baton from her with an $11 million turnover becoming the Highest Paid Actress in India.

Priyanka Chopra has become the first Indian star to enter the Forbes list of highest paid television actresses in the world, after starring in American series “Quantico”. However, the 34-year-old actress has starred in two Bollywood films in the past one year — “Bajirao Mastani” and “Jai Gangaajal” — and will also make her Hollywood film debut soon.

Before Priyanka, Deepika Padukone also made the country proud by entering the 2016 Forbes list of world’s highest paid actresses. Priyanka and Deepika both are ruling the world with their achievements in Bollywood and Hollywood as well.

Priyanka's Hollywood debut “Baywatch” would release worldwide in 2017. The film will give a big boost to her image. While Deepika will be seen alongside Vin Diesel in “xXx: Return of Xander Cage”.
