Chaos at Sonu Nigam’s concert as crowd hurls stones and bottles
Renowned Indian singer Sonu Nigam faced an unexpected disruption during his concert at Delhi Technological University’s (DTU) “Engifest 2025”.
A group of students in the audience started throwing stones and bottles towards the stage, creating a chaotic scene.
During his performance, Nigam urged the crowd to remain calm and refrain from such actions to ensure the safety of his team.
Addressing the audience, he said, “I am here for you so that we can all have a good time. I’m not saying don’t enjoy yourselves, but please don’t do this.”

Videos of the concert have gone viral on social media, showing Nigam performing his hit songs. At one point, someone threw a pink bunny-ear headband toward him, which he amusingly wore while continuing his performance.
This is not the first time Nigam has encountered such situations. In February, during his concert in Kolkata, he was visibly upset due to the unruly behavior of the crowd.
A viral video showed him scolding the audience and repeatedly asking them to stay quiet. At one point, he sarcastically remarked, “If you want to stand up so badly, go contest the elections, yaar!”
Recently, Nigam also took a jab at the IIFA Awards committee for not nominating him in any category this year.
