Video clip of singer Sonu Nigam being manhandled by a man at a music festival in Mumbai went viral on social media as he escaped with minor injuries.

The music festival in Chembur got all the attention because of the incident, which left the singer, his bodyguard, and a member of his team injured.

The incident happened when Sonu was getting off the stage. According to the Hindustan Times, the man, who pushed Sonu’s bodyguard and his team member off the stage, is identified as Swapnil Phaterpekar, the son of a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA).

The video shows Sonu walking down from the stage with his team, and being pushed from behind by a man.

After the incident, Sonu Nigam spoke to the reporters and said that all of it happened only because the man wanted a selfie with him.
