Anjum aqeel sent on 12 days judicial remand

The anti- terrorism court on Monday sent PML-N member National Assembly Anjum Aqeel on twelve days judicial  remand.

Earlier today, Anjum Aqeel Khan was produced in anti- terrorism court for a judicial probe into his escape two days back.

According to the reports, accused in land scam Anjum Aqeel was brought to court in tight security. The police asked for his 7 days physical remand, but the court refused to do so and sent him on twelve days judicial remand.

On Sunday, The judge also order medical checkup of the MNA on his request, while he would not be kept at Shalimar police station where his supports escaped him last Friday.

Media was kept away during the hearing; however Aqeel got an undersized chance to talk to media where he said that he had not been arrested by the police but he surrendered himself.

Earlier, after declared a proclaimed offender by the civil court, PML-N member National Assembly Anjum Aqeel late Saturday surrendered and presented himself at Kohsar police station.
