Gold prices fall sharply in local, international markets

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Monday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, the gold price per tola reached Rs428,936 after a decline of Rs2,300 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs367,743 after it fell by Rs1,972, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Sunday, the gold price per tola reached Rs431,236 after a decline of Rs1,000 during the day.

The international rate of gold declined by $23 to reach $4,065 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs69 to reach Rs6,324 per tola.
