The Punjab Assembly on Wednesday passed the Regulation of Kite Flying Punjab Bill 2025, rejecting both amendments moved by the opposition during the legislative session.

The house also approved the Second Amendment to the Police Order Bill 2025 and the Amendment to the Agriculture, Food and Drug Authority Punjab Bill 2025.

Opposition lawmakers had proposed amendments to the kite flying regulation bill, but these were put to a vote and defeated.

With the passage of the legislation, the assembly cleared three key bills in a single sitting, paving the way for stricter regulation of kite flying and amendments to policing and food safety laws in the province.
