Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight operations have been affected due to dense fog in Lahore, Multan, Sialkot and Faisalabad, leading to temporary changes in flight schedules.

According to a PIA spokesperson, both domestic and international flights were facing disruptions as visibility at the affected airports had dropped significantly, posing challenges for the safe landing and take-off of aircraft.

Passengers have been advised to obtain the latest information about their flights before departing for the airport.

The spokesperson said that the temporary schedule adjustments were aimed at ensuring passenger safety and avoiding unnecessary delays during adverse weather conditions.

During periods of severe fog, reduced visibility becomes a major operational concern, making flight operations highly sensitive and safety-dependent.

PIA has requested passengers to contact its helpline at 786-786-11 before travelling to confirm the latest status of their respective flights.
