Gold prices registered a rise in both local and international markets on Monday, with the price of bullion in Pakistan rising significantly.

In the local market, the price of per tola gold went up by Rs2,600 to reach Rs454,862, while the price of 10 grams of gold recorded an increase of Rs2,229 to settle at Rs389,970.

The yellow metal maintained an upward trend in the international markets, rising by $26 to reach $4,325 per ounce.
