Where did different political leaders perform Eid al-Fitr prayers?
During the festive occasion of Eid al-Fitr, various political leaders across Pakistan gathered to perform prayers in various locations.
A leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and opposition leader in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub Khan performed Eid al-Fitr prayers in his ancestral village, Rehana, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Ahmad Khan offered Eid prayers in his hometown, Khai Hithar, Kasur.
Senate Chairman Yusuf Raza Gilani performed Eid al-Fitr prayers in Multan.
The Prime Minister offered Eid prayers in Lahore, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Governor Faisal Karim Kundi prayed in Dera Ismail Khan.
Nawaz Sharif and his family performed Eid prayers at Jati Umra. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was also present.
After the prayers, Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz visited the graves of their ancestors, where they offered prayers for Mian Muhammad Sharif, his wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, and Abbas Sharif.
They laid flowers at the graves and offered special prayers for the forgiveness of the deceased. Later, Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz also attended a Milad gathering.
In Larkana, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited shrines on the occasion of Eid.
Bilawal Bhutto with Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Senate member Nisar Khuhro, and other party leaders, prayed at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.
After the prayers, Bilawal visited the graves of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Shaheed Murtaza Bhutto, and Shaheed Shah Nawaz Bhutto to offer prayers.
He also laid flowers at the grave of Begum Nusrat Bhutto.
On this occasion, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah offered special prayers for the country’s security, stability, and the prosperity of the people.
Also, Asif Ali Zardari offered prayers in Zardari house, Nawabshah and prayed for Pakistan’s well-being.
