CTD, Kohat police conduct joint operation; terrorist commander escapes with aides
The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and Kohat police launched a joint clean-up operation against terrorists, conducting raids in multiple areas.
According to police sources, the operation targeted militant hideouts in Shwakai, Takht Kalle, and Palosi Banda.
However, a key terrorist commander, Kaleemullah, managed to escape along with his associates before security forces could apprehend them.
Officials stated that the fleeing militants abandoned their food supplies, indicating a hasty retreat. Remnants of their presence were also discovered at the scene.

During the operation, security forces torched and destroyed makeshift militant hideouts, reinforcing their stance that no challenge to the law would be tolerated.
Police authorities affirmed that all terrorist bases will be dismantled, with the ultimate objective of completely eliminating extremist elements and ensuring public safety.
