The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has submitted an interim challan in court four months after the Karachi airport suicide attack case.

According to the challan presented in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), the attack resulted in the deaths of two Chinese nationals and one local citizen, while six others, including a woman, sustained injuries.

The CTD’s investigation identified Javed and Gul Nisa as arrested suspects, while Shah Fahad was named as the suicide bomber.

Two other accused, Bashir Baloch alias Bashir Zeb and Abdul Rehman alias Rehman, remain at large.

The report states that Bashir and Rehman radicalised Shah Fahad for the attack, while Javed conducted reconnaissance of the airport before the attack.

Gul Nisa allegedly helped transport the explosives-laden vehicle from Balochistan to Karachi.

The CTD further disclosed that at the time of the blast, Javed and another suspect, Siraj alias Danish, were present at the scene.

Following the explosion, Javed and Siraj fled the airport. Despite multiple attempts, the fugitive suspects remain at large.
